OKLAHOMA CITY (May 9) – RIVERSPORT OKC Juniors Rowing proudly announces the commitment of eight graduating seniors to collegiate rowing programs nationwide. The signing ceremony, held at the Chesapeake Boathouse, marked the official signing of their letters of intent.
Executive Director of RIVERSPORT, Mike Knopp, emphasized the athletes’ dedication. “Today is a proud day for RIVERSPORT Junior Rowing as we celebrate these athletes’ commitment to collegiate rowing,” Knopp said. “Their dedication has been integral to our program’s success, having collectively earned over $12 million in collegiate scholarships. We’re excited to see them excel at the next level.”

Addy Toll Cal Poly Humbolt – Arcata, CA
Nicholas Burks Oklahoma Christian University – Oklahoma City, OK
Spencer Crum Marist – Poughkeepsie, NY
Jada James University of Tennessee – Knoxville, TN
Camron Knopp Oklahoma Christian University – Oklahoma City, OK
Ulyssa Mata Ponce Purdue – West Lafayette, IN
Ashlyn White Monmouth – West Long Branch, NJ
Julia Veal University of Albany – Albany, NY
These recruits have secured scholarships which begin with their freshman year but have the potential to continue for their four-year collegiate careers.
“These seniors have left an indelible mark on our RIVERSPORT program with their hard work and leadership,” Head Coach Eric Gehrke said. “Their dedication has been exemplary. We’re immensely proud of their achievements and wish them the best as they embark on their collegiate journey.
OKC RIVERSPORT Juniors Rowing is open to Oklahoma City high school and middle school students and offers more than $30,000 in scholarships every year to help students cover the costs of rowing fees and travel expenses.
