Welcome to the ultimate summer adventure! We hope you find this information helpful. If you need additional assistance, please email [email protected] or call 405-552-4040

What paperwork needs to be completed?
Each camper needs the following paperwork completed to take part in camp. Parents, please plan on coming in the first day with your child to ensure all paperwork is complete during the initial check in.

  • Camper Information and Medical Form
  • Camper Pick Up Release
  • Save time by signing your waiver online; look for the floating link on this page.

Who will be coaching the camp?
Our experienced coaching staff which handles all of our RIVERSPORT Adventure Camps are the best qualified and most fun in the business! Our coaches all take pride in being creative insuring your camper’s experience is rich, exciting and one of a kind!

What should I wear?
On a warm day, it will mean something comfortable such as a t-shirt and athletic shorts. For our cooler days in the spring, being on the water or high in the air can be deceptively cool. Please be sure to bring one or two synthetic (anything that is not cotton) long sleeve shirts every day so you can stay comfortable and have a great time. Campers are required to bring a change of clothes for the RIVERSPORT Rapids experience and all boating activities. Parents should send their camper to camp as if they were going to the swimming pool; please include a towel and shoes that can get wet. Closed-toed athletic shoes or sandals with a heel strap are required for all activities; shoes or sandals that can come off in the water are not allowed during the rapids adventure. Water shoes, “Chaco” style strap on sandals or old athletic shoes will work great. We also recommend a hat and sunglasses for protection from the sun.

What should I expect?
During their week at camp, your campers will experience everything the Boathouse District has to offer. Weather permitting, campers split their week between the newest attractions at the Oklahoma River including RIVERSPORT Rapids whitewater rafting, the SandRidge Sky Zip across the Oklahoma River, the SandRidge Sky Trail adventure course, Rumble Drop 80-foot free fall, the Youth Zone and the tallest dry slide complex in the United States with our two 72-foot tall spiral slides and tandem drop 30-foot racer slides. We have fun learning water safety and paddling skills in an assortment of recreational and racing kayaks, stand up paddle boards, canoes, and dragon boats. If we have a rainy day, we’ll play indoor games, experience indoor rowing fitness activities and row in our state-of-the-art dynamic rowing tank.

What should I bring?
Bring plenty of sunscreen, a water bottle, a full change of active clothes and a towel. If you are taking part in a full-day camp you will need to bring a lunch; half-day Adventure Campers will not need to bring a lunch. A small, healthy snack will be provided to all campers. Many of the activities at the river put you close to the water or high in the air. Please don’t bring anything that you don’t mind ending up at the bottom of the river! We will have a secure container to stow campers’ belongings and lunches. This container is located outside under the SandRidge Youth Pavilion, so please do not pack a perishable lunch unless it is self-insulated. Also, we discourage campers from bringing valuables, especially expensive electronics to camp.

Where am I going?
Campers meet and are picked up daily from the SandRidge Youth Pavilion located beneath SandRidge SkyTrail in the Boathouse District on the Oklahoma River, 800 RIVERSPORT Drive, Oklahoma City.

How does pick-up and drop-off work?
When you arrive at the SandRidge Youth Pavilion, please check in at the front desk where your campers’ coach will sign them in. Please make sure you are on time each day, all morning campers drop-off should occur as close to 8am as is reasonably possible but our camp staff is on site beginning at 7:30a. Between 8-8:15a campers prepare for their day, go over plans with their camp coach and get to know each other better around the SandRidge Youth Pavilion. If you will be arriving late, please call so that we can make arrangements to retrieve your camper from you when you arrive.

Pick-up occurs at the SandRidge Youth Pavilion; our coaches will have the campers outside to make it easier. If you need to retrieve your camper a little early or are running late yourself, please call and let us know!

What happens if it rains?
Even if it’s raining or very windy, we will still meet and have fun! Always show up for camp unless the camp coach has notified you earlier in the day of alternative plans.
