Cameron Kumagai

Hobart College BA ‘22. Hailing from Lafayette California, Cameron started his rowing career in eighth grade with Oakland Strokes. At Oakland, Cameron won a silver medal at Youth National Championships in the Men’s Eight. While at Hobart, Cameron participated in the OKC National High Performance center development camps each summer and was invited to join the team after graduating. Most recently, Cameron competed in the 2022 Coastal World Championships in Great Britain. He finished 12^th overall in the Mixed Double Sculls. Cameron is hopeful to further his rowing career and one day compete as a member of the U.S. National Team.
