OKLAHOMA CITY (June 18) – RIVERSPORT’s Stars & Stripes River Festival is back on Saturday, June 22, 2024, in Oklahoma City’s Boathouse District. The festival will feature a full day of racing, adventures, and family fun, culminating in a fireworks display over the Oklahoma River.
“The Stars & Stripes River Festival brings our community together for a day of exciting activities and celebrations,” said Mike Knopp, RIVERSPORT executive director. “Each year, it showcases the best of what RIVERSPORT and the Oklahoma River have to offer, drawing in participants and spectators from all over.”
The festival kicks off with the USRowing Central Masters Regional Championships, where rowers from across the region will compete.
Throughout the day, families can enjoy RIVERSPORT Rapids and Adventures, including whitewater rafting, surfing, tubing, adventure courses, and more. Food will be available from Big Water Grill and food trucks, with free yard games providing additional entertainment.
The evening’s activities include the OG&E NightSprints, featuring the PaddleFest Dragon Boat Championships and the RIVERSPORT Rowing League Championships. The event will conclude with a fireworks show over the river.

Admission to the Stars & Stripes River Festival is free, with parking available for $10.
