Canoe and Kayak Summer Camps in Oklahoma City

RIVERSPORT Youth Canoe & Kayak Camps are week-long day camps in Oklahoma City that introduce campers to canoeing and kayaking while building water-safety skills and confidence on the water. Camps take place at RIVERSPORT OKC in the Boathouse District, using the Oklahoma River and whitewater facilities.

Novice Canoe/Kayak Camps

Campers learn competitive kayaking skills plus water safety during this week-long day camp which includes stand-up paddle boarding, recreational kayaking, and Olympic canoe/kayak sprint and slalom – plus whitewater rafting and tubing.

No previous experience is necessary. Experienced participants will have the opportunity to develop their skills. Camp participants are invited to join RIVERSPORT’s canoe/kayak team.

  • Ages: 8-13 • Grades 2nd to 8th rising
  • Sessions:
    • May 25-29 • June 22-26
    • 8a-12p
  • Price: $250
  • Location: Whitewater Center, Boathouse District

Camps are fully refundable up to one week before the camp start date

Intermediate Canoe/Kayak Camps

Campers take their competitive kayaking skills to this next level during this week-long day camp. The focus will be on Olympic canoe/kayak sprint and slalom – plus whitewater rafting and tubing.  

Camp participants are invited to join RIVERSPORT’s canoe/kayak team.

  • Ages: 8-13 • Grades 2nd to 8th rising

    • June 29-July 3 • August 3-7
    • 8a-12p
