OKLAHOMA CITY (Feb 8, 2023) – Men’s Journal has named RIVERSPORT’s Ski OKC among the top sites in the nation for beginner skiers and snowboarders.

Classic mountain destinations ranked by Men’s Journal include ski slopes and resorts in Utah, New York, Colorado and Idaho among others. RIVERSPORT ranked eleventh among those highlighted.

RIVERSPORT’s Ski OKC offers alpine skiing and snowboarding on an indoor slope. Located inside the McClendon Whitewater Center, the beginner-friendly incline is made from an artificial ski surface called PoleSnow, designed with low-friction fibers and misted with water to replicate actual powder.

In including RIVERSPORT, Men’s Journal notes:

And now for something completely different: In Oklahoma City, Riversport has alpine skiing and snowboarding at a new indoor slope, Ski OKC.

SKI OKC’s simulator features a quick inclination system that allows the slope to go from Green and Blue ski runs to the equivalent of a Black in seconds.

RIVERSPORT OKC is currently offers group lessons, private one on one lessons, and private group lessons for people looking to try skiing for the first time or brush up on their skills before they hit the slopes.
