OKLAHOMA CITY, OK (September 3, 2024) – The Water Sports Foundation (WSF) is sponsoring the inaugural Paddlesports Trade Coalition (PTC) Colab event, set to take place at RIVERSPORT in Oklahoma City from Sept. 3 through 6. The event will gather paddlesports industry professionals to foster collaboration, enhance business practices, and address key industry challenges.

Hosted at RIVERSPORT’s adventure park, the Colab will feature three days of whitewater and flatwater demonstrations, offering attendees hands-on opportunities to explore the latest paddlesports innovations.

“RIVERSPORT is thrilled to host the Paddlesports Trade Coalition’s first Colab event,” said Mike Knopp, executive director of RIVERSPORT. “This event provides a unique platform for industry leaders to come together, share knowledge, and advance the paddlesports community.”

The Paddlesports Trade Coalition was established to represent the paddlesports industry with a unified voice, connecting manufacturers, retailers, outfitters, sales representatives, and other professionals committed to growing the sport and enhancing safety.

The Water Sports Foundation, a nonprofit organization dedicated to boating and paddling safety, has played a key role in promoting safer practices across the industry. Since 2011, the WSF has managed 54 U.S. Coast Guard-administered federal boating safety grants.
