Welcome to RIVERSPORT OKC!
Located in downtown Oklahoma City, RIVERSPORT is a $100M+ sports destination for both rowing and paddlesports. A US Olympic and Paralympic Training Site, RIVERSPORT has hosted national and international sprint and slalom competitions including multiple national championships, national team trials, World Cups and Olympic Trials. RIVERSPORT will host the 2026 Canoe Slalom World Championships and was selected as the Canoe Slalom venue for the LA28 Olympic Games.

Training Dates
RIVERSPORT will offer optional training sessions prior to competition, 16 – 26 March. This training period will also serve as the unofficial training period for the 2026 World Championships.
In addition, RIVERSPORT will also offer post-competition training Monday – Friday following the ranking race competition, 30 March – 3 April.
All training sessions are paid for by the athlete and must be reserved in advance; pricing is $30 USD per one-hour session per athlete or $45 USD for two one-hour sessions in the same day.

RIVERSPORT OKC
RIVERSPORT is located in the city’s Boathouse District adjacent to downtown Oklahoma City at the intersection of I35 and I40, the crossroads of the nation. The 100-acre development includes a series of iconic boathouses, a four-story finish line tower, the Whitewater Center, a six-story adventure course, a zip line, a Flowrider surf wave and more.
RIVERSPORT is conveniently located within walking distance of downtown’s Bricktown Entertainment District, offering a wide variety of hotels, restaurants and entertainment options just steps away.
The venue is also a trailhead on the City’s 100+ miles of paved trails for cycling and running.

The state is also known as being an integral part of the American West. The National Cowboy and Western Heritage Museum showcases the best of western art and culture while Stockyards City offers a real-life western cowboy experience – both are just minutes from RIVERSPORT.
During 2026, America will be celebrating the 100th Anniversary of Route 66, the “mother road” that was the first to cross the US connecting Chicago to Los Angeles. Oklahoma has more miles of this iconic highway than any other with celebrations planned throughout year.

Transportation to Oklahoma City

Competition Venue
RIVERSPORT’s slalom course is 304.8m long and drops 5.15m from start to finish with eight million gallons of water powered by six pumps. It includes a recreational (north) and a competition channel (south). The kayak cross ramp provides a 10-12 foot drop and is located over the competition channel. Boat storage is available in the Kayak Building at the top of the channels. Athlete and team amenities will be offered inside the McClendon Whitewater Center.
The 100-acre+ Boathouse District sits on the river’s north shore just blocks from downtown OKC and includes a row of iconic boathouses, the world-class whitewater rafting and kayaking center, a bike park and an array of land adventures.

Accreditation
Accreditation is $125 USD per athlete and per coach. Accreditation passes (credentials) will be required to access the venue and will be available at Registration for registered athletes and coaches. Registration and race information will be headquartered in the RIVERSPORT Whitewater Center.
Athletes and Support Staff should register using the ICF SDP system a minimum of two weeks prior to the event – 13 March 2026.Extra Services
Medical Services
During the event period RIVERSPORT will provide first aid service. Please note that this medical service will cover only emergency cases and that all participants are responsible to arrange, at their cost, their own medical insurance policy.
Spectators
Admission to racing will be free.

Applicants requesting accreditation will be added to the ICF’s media mailing list to receive ICF media releases. The Media Area on-site is situated next to the finish line and the officials’ area.
