Masters practice in both sweep (rowing with one oar) and sculling (two oars) boats. Practice times vary by desired training level (all practice times are the same year-round). To begin rowing, it is highly recommended that you take a Learn to Row class first. These classes are designed to introduce you to the sport and teach you basic knowledge and terminology. Once complete, our Masters Coached Rowing Programs will enhance and further that training.
