About Land, Sea & Air Team Building

RIVERSPORT OKC’s newest Team Building opportunity, Land, Sea & Air, will challenge your group on three different surfaces. You will begin the day with ground activities to break the ice and get your blood pumping. After setting some goals for the day and a short debrief your group will take to the sky where you will experience the tallest ropes course in North America and our “free-fall” experience the Rumble Drop. Lunch and a debrief will follow before your group heads to the Aubrey K. McClendon Whitewater Center for activities on Oklahoma City’s own state of the art RIVERSPORT Rapids facility, where they will participate in activities in Class III to Class V Rapids, designed to build trust, communication, and above all team work! Following another short debrief your group will be set for departure but might want to stick around and enjoy tubing on the RIVERSPORT Rapids, then enjoy the sunset on the Oklahoma River on our one of a kind patio. The entire experience can be set to your time frame but generally takes place from 10a-3:45p.

Tentative Team Building Schedule:

• 10-11:15a Ice breaker, ground activities, goals & debrief
• 11:15a-12:30p SandRidge SkyTrail with Rumble Drop
• 12:30-1:30p Team debrief and lunch (Sandwiches/Salads provided)
• 1:30-1:45p Change/Prepare for rafting
• 1:45-3p Whitewater rafting (4-6 per raft, depending on group size)
• 3-3:45p End of day, Team Building debrief

Options for Post-Team Building Activities:

• 3:45-5p Free time at Big Water Grill, Bar & Patio
  • Add Zip Passes for $10
  • Free Kayak & SUP Rentals
• 6-7p Free tubing on the RIVERSPORT Rapids
  • Big Water Grill, Bar & Patio are open until 7p

Pricing: There is a $1500 minimum for this team building experience.
Groups of 10-15 are $150 per person, and groups of 16-30 are $125 per person.
Larger groups would be on a staggered schedule, up to 3 groups of 30 (90 Total).

ABOUT THE BOATHOUSE DISTRICT

Located on the Oklahoma River in downtown Oklahoma City, the Boathouse District is emerging as one of the world’s premier sites for both rowing and canoe/kayak – and as a “go to” place for Oklahoma City metro area families and visitors looking for outdoor fun. RIVERSPORT Adventures offers family fun with adventure courses, zip lines, cycling and on-the-water activities including kayaking, dragon boating and stand up paddle boarding. The Oklahoma River also hosts family festivals, races and regattas on the river throughout the year. The U.S. Olympic Committee has recognized the Oklahoma River as a U.S. Olympic & Paralympic Training Site, and you’ll find Olympic hopefuls in rowing training at the OKC National High Performance Center.

In the event weather conditions make it unsafe to hold an outdoor or one-the-water team building experience your group may choose to reschedule your experience for another day.

Weather conditions that make it necessary to reschedule an on-the-water experience include:

• Sustained winds averaging 25mph or higher
• Air temperature below 40 degrees or above 100 degrees
• Heavy rain (experiences can be held in light rain/mist)
• Lightning
