Ready to make a difference in an Oklahoma City student’s life? Make a donation to the OKC RIVERSPORT Youth Rowing League.
Giving Tuesday is over, but donation opportunities are still available!
The OKC Boathouse Foundation provides rowing and canoe/kayak opportunities for students throughout the Oklahoma City metro area.
We’re nearing a decade of offering free Youth Rowing League teams to schools – and students – who otherwise couldn’t afford to participate. They row alongside teams from across the metro. Today, the league has grown to 190 athletes from 14 high schools and middle schools.
Every year we have requests to add more schools. And with your support, we can continue to expand the number of schools and students who get the opportunity to get on the water!
We hope you’ll look for your favorite school below, and if you don’t see yours, consider helping us start a team for your alma mater or neighborhood middle or high school.
Schools currently participating include ASTEC Middle School, ASTEC High School, Cristo Rey Middle School, KIPP: Reach Middle School, Mustang Rowing Club – Middle School, Mustang Rowing Club – High School, Millwood Middle School, Millwood High School, Mission Academy High School, Northwest Classen High School, Oklahoma School of Science & Mathematics High School, Roosevelt Middle School, Santa Fe South High School, Southeast High School, U.S. Grant High School.
The OKC Boathouse Foundation is a 501(c)(3), so your donation is fully tax deductible.
