ICF Super Cup

Saturday, August 21 • 7-9p

Oklahoma’s spirit of innovation will be on full display for the world to see this August when Oklahoma City hosts the 2021 ICF SuperCup, an internationally televised race featuring Olympic competitors and medalists from the Tokyo Olympic Games. Both the SuperCup and a second demonstration event, Extreme Slalom held that same weekend, will showcase innovations in the sport of canoe/kayak.

The ICF SuperCup is the centerpiece of a multi-day race event, the Oklahoma Paddlesport Festival, that will include a World Party, the American Canoe Association (ACA) Slalom and Sprint National Championships, a  new ICF Extreme Slalom event, and the USO Experience, a three-day expo event expected to attract thousands of military and their families from across the region.

Extreme Slalom

Friday, August 20 • 7-9p

Extreme Slalom makes its debut at the Paris Games in 2024 – but Oklahoma City will be showcasing it just prior to the World Party as part of the Oklahoma Paddlesport Festival!

RIVERSPORT has innovated this sport with our own version, BoaterX, for two years.

Paddlers drop 12 feet into whitewater, then paddle head-to-head completing turns, combat rolls and other maneuvers as they race to the finish.
