SafeSport

SafeSport

The US Center for SafeSport was founded in March of 2017 with the goal of ending all abuse in sports.  SafeSport aims to safeguard athletes from bullying, harassment, hazing, physical abuse, emotional abuse, sexual abuse, and sexual misconduct. For the safety of our athletes, particularly our youth athletes, RIVERSPORT has adopted a comprehensive SafeSport policy approved by United States Olympic and Paralympic Committee.

In order to become SafeSport approved, employees, certified volunteers and others must pass a thorough background check, complete training, and promote a culture of awareness where RIVERSPORT members and guests can feel free to file complaints without retaliation.

Questions or complaints may be directed to safesport@okcbf.org or you may complete the anonymous SafeSport Online Form.
