The twelfth annual Oklahoma City University (OCU) Head of the Oklahoma regatta takes place on the Oklahoma River October 1-2, 2016 as part of Oklahoma City’s premier fall event, the Oklahoma Regatta Festival- a four day celebration of rowing, kayaking, dragon boating and family fun on the Oklahoma River.
In addition to the OCU Head of the Oklahoma, this year’s festival includes OGE Night Sprints and a family festival featuring live music, food from some of Oklahoma City’s most popular food trucks, a beer garden, and a front row seat for all of the races! All of it happens in the Boathouse District on the Oklahoma River, adjacent to downtown Oklahoma City and the Bricktown entertainment district. With a sidewalk following the Bricktown canal to the Oklahoma River, crews staying in Bricktown hotels can easily walk to the venue.
